PURPOSE:To reduce hardware constitution by calculating conversion factors for each block when the picture elements have different conversion factors and deciding the key conversion factor. CONSTITUTION:An output part for spatial filter coefficient control data consists of an arithmetic part 1, a control part 2 which inputs the output of the part 1, and an output part 3 which inputs the output of the part 2 and outputs the control data to a spatial filter coefficient control part. The part 2 calculates a nearby line passing the periphery of a folded line from folded line connecting intersecting points. Then a folded line signal and a nearby signal are added to the blocks where the folded line and the nearby line cross each other. The part 3 usually inputs the control codes corresponding to the conversion factors of blocks respectively and sets the conversion factor at the maximum value with input of at least the folded line signal together with input of the conversion factor. Then the next maximum conversion factor is set with input of only the nearby line signal together with input of the conversion factor. Thus the control codes are outputted in response to each conversion factor. |
