PURPOSE:To load programs at high speed by securing the entries for executed programs in the idle areas of a main memory. CONSTITUTION:It is decided in reply to an executing request of a program whether this program is already entried or not within a prescribed stand-by area 5 of a main memory 1. If the relevant program is not entried, an idle area is secured for the program within the area 5. Then the requested program is read out of a secondary memory 3 and read for entry into said idle area in the area 5. The executing frequency of said entried program is recorded to a control table 7. The entry of the requested program is held in the area 5 even after it is executed. |
