PURPOSE:To flow a large volume of liquid into a liquid storage tank while preventing foaming by floating a plate with a number of through-holes on the surface of liquid stored in a liquid storage tank and bonding the lower end of a liquid guide member guiding the liquid from a liquid treating section with said plate. CONSTITUTION:The liquid flowing along a guide plate 5 comes over a liquid receiving plate 6 without reaching directly the liquid surface and spreads and flows forward over the liquid receiving plate 6. The liquid to spread and flow forward over the liquid receiving plate 6 is dispersed by a number of through- holes 7 formed thereon, flows through the liquid receiving plate 6 and flows away from the upper surface of the liquid receiving plate 6 in a short period of time. As the liquid is dispersed by a number of through-holes 7 and mixed quietly with the liquid already stored therein, capture of air is reduced to a large extent and a large volume of liquid can be flowed into a liquid storage tank 1 in a short period of time without generating foams.
