PURPOSE:To generate the release of a clear paint film generated after long-time use according to a preset design, by providing a partial omission processed part to the intermediate coat film applied to electrodeposition painting being bottom coat painting. CONSTITUTION:In the painting of the body of a car, a motorcycle or a railroad vehicle, painting is composed of three-coat and contains four processes, that is, a pretreatment process, a bottom coating process, an intermediate coating process and a top coating process. Herein, the intermediate coat film 14 participated in the enhancement of the physical properties of the paint film as a whole is preliminarily processed so as to be partially omitted so that a clear paint film 20 releases according to a desired design after a long time is elapsed. This partial omission part is formed by a method wherein intermediate coating is not performed so as to obtain the desired design shape or by a method wherein surface roughening treatment imparting the desired design shape is applied to the intermediate coat film 14 after intermediate coating to form an embossed omission processed part 22.
