PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of an inter-loop data transfer, by constituting so that a coupling device detects a fault of one loop and sends out a circuit cutting request signaling frame to the terminal station device concerned of the relevant loop. CONSTITUTION:An inter-loop coupling device LX has loop coupling parts LC1, LC2 and LC3 connected to loops L1, L2 and L3, and has a common control part CC connected through an exchange bus (b) to each loop coupling part, and a scanner SCN for scanning periodically each loop coupling part and the common control part and giving a prescribed instruction. Also, the coupling parts LC1- LC3 are connected to the corresponding loops L1, L2 and L3, branch and insertion of a frame between the loops are executed, and also a communication available or not-available state of its loop is detected and is informed to a control part CC through a control line l. Also, the control part CC receives information from the loop coupling part of faulty loop, and generates newly a circuit disconnection request frame addressed to the relevant loop. |
