PURPOSE:To effect uniform radiation from the front surface of a main body casing and minimize the temperature rise at the rear surface of the same, by a method wherein a planar type heat generating body is arranged so as to cover the whole of the flat surface of the main body casing and a belt-type opening and closing plate is attached pivotably to a second opening while the opening and closing plate is opened or closed by a temperature sensitive deforming body. CONSTITUTION:When an operating switch 20 is put ON and warm-air blowing is selected, the flat surface 12 of the front surface receives heat from a planar type heat generating body 13 and is heated uniformly whereby emitting secondary radiation heat while air, taken into a main body by a ventilating device 18 through a suction port 19, receives the heat of the planar type heat generating body 13 and the temperature thereof is risen, thereafter, is sent forwardly from a first opening 14. In this case, a temperature sensitive deforming body 17 keeps the plastic deformation as it is while the opening and closing plate 16 of a second opening 15 is closed. When the ventilating device 18 is stopped, the heat sensitive deforming body 17 is heated and deformed whereby the opening and closing plate 16 is driven to open the second opening 15, natural convection is promoted and a room may be heated.
