<p>NEW MATERIAL:A peptide of human interferon gamma shown by the formula (J is H). USE:An inhibitor against cell multiplication and an antiviral agent. Having not only improved antiviral activity but also improved inhibitory action on cell multiplication and enriching action on NK cell, useful for remedying malignant antitumor, etc. PROCESS:A carboxylic acid of an amino acid containing an alpha-amino-protecting group is linked to a substrate such as a polystyrene resin crosslinked with divinylbenzene, the alpha-amino-protecting group is eliminated selectively, the liberated amino group is reacted with the second amino acid containing an alpha-amino- protecting group, removal of an alpha-amino-protecting group and introduction of another amino acid containing an alpha-amino-protecting group are successively repeated, to give the desire piptide chain, and covalent bond between carboxylic acid group of C-terminal amino acid of peptide and the resin is cleaved.</p> |
