PURPOSE:To relax the restriction to installation of an evaporated fuel introduction device by providing such an arrangement that a valve element in a shut-off valve disposed in an evaporative fuel introduction passage may be opened and closed in association with the rotation of a motor which may be of a small size, thereby it is possible to miniaturize the shut-off valve. CONSTITUTION:When a door for a fuel pocket is opened during fueling, movable contacts 18a, 18b in a change-over switch 18 fall down to positions as indicated by the solid lines so that a motor 33 is normally rotated while a valve element 29 is normally rotated so as to abut against a stopper 32, and therefore, an opening and closing hole 25 is fully opened. As a result evaporative fuel in a fuel tank 1 is introduced into an absorbing device through an introduction passage 5. Meanwhile, after fueling, when the door is closed, the movable contacts 18a, 18b fall down to positions as indicated by the chain lines so that the motor 32 is reversed while the valve element 29 is reversed to abut against a stopper 31, and therefore the opening and closing hole 25 is fully closed. As a result, evaporative fuel in the fuel tank is prevented from being led out. With this arrangement it is possible to use a small size motor 33, thereby it is possible to miniaturize the shut-off valve.
