PURPOSE:To fix a rapidly cooled metal on a rotating cylindrical body and to wind the metal without breaking by bending the top part of the metal introduced into the cylindrical body from an opening part on the inner peripheral surface of the body by a bar semifixedly installed in the body. CONSTITUTION:The top part of a rapidly cooled metal 1 is introduced into the inside of a cylindrical body 5 with the body 5 rotated at a speed equal to the casting speed of the metal 1. A bar 7 installed on the inner surface of the body 5 bends the top part of the metal 1 to wind the metal 1 on a cylindrical body 2 in that situation. The winding is efficiently performed by a device of that structure.
