PURPOSE:To remove the generation of cracks, and to increase mechanical strength by a method wherein a corrugated nonwoven fabric is impregnated simultaneously with the same organic insulator when sections among each layer of a blank coil are impregnated with the uncured organic insulator, the organic insulator is heated and cured, a spacer bar is drawn out, and a fluidizing hole for air is formed into the coil. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 1 is mounted to a core, a low pressure side conductor 2 is wound, inserting a nonwoven fabric 4a among layers to shape a low pressure side winding 3, and a nonwoven fabric 4b for forming a cooling duct is rolled in onto the low pressure side winding 3 in a corrugated manner by an adjacent spacer bar 5. A high pressure side winding 6 is wound, rolling in the nonwoven fabric 4a among layers on the nonwoven fabric 4b, winding is completed, and a blank coil is impregnated with an uncured organic insulator under decompression. When the organic insulator is heated and cured and the spacer bar 5 is drawn out, the cooling duct as a fluidizing hole for air is shaped. Accordingly, a transformer coil having high mechanical strength and high electrical reliability is acquired.
