PURPOSE:To prevent a camera from being out of focus by inhibiting the operation of an electric zoom when the in-focus state holding mode is selected and driving only a variator lens without interlocking a focusing lens. CONSTITUTION:On/off information of an AF lock button 35 is inputted to an operation processing unit 42, and at the time of AF lock, an analog switch 44 for electric zooming is turned off and an analog switch 45 for electric focusing is turned on. At the time of AF lock, an electric zooming driving circuit 40 is locked and an AF motor 13 is driven through an electric focusing circuit 43 by the operation processing unit 42 on the basis of the operation output of an electric zooming/focusing button 32 to perform electric focusing. Thus, an inexpensive, small-sized, and light-weight zoom lens is presented and the malfunction at the time of AF lock is prevented. Since a direction indicating button is used for electric zooming as well as electric focusing, an inexpensive system is realized. |
