PURPOSE:To mass-produce a metallic mold and to form the metallic mold having good accuracy by covering the actual thing by a primary molding material, removing the actual thing after hardening, hardening after a secondary molding material to the corresponding face to the actual thing, removing as disintegrating the primary molding material and pouring molten metal. CONSTITUTION:In a first stage, the actual thing (aluminium kind, etc.) 1 under consideration of contraction rule is prepared. The actual thing 1 is desirable to no reverse-tapered shape. In a second stage, the primary molding material 3 having hot water disintegratable gypsum is packed between the frame body 2 and the actual thing 1 and hardened to make the mold 4. In a third stage, the actual material 1 is removed by drawing up. In a forth stage, the secondary molding material 6 made of thermal disintegratable gypsum is packed in the cavity part 5 and hardened to make the mold 7 as the combined mold. In fifth and sixth stages, the combined mold is dipped in the hot water 8, and the mold 4 is disintegrated to take out only the mold 7. next, after setting the mold 7 in a flask 9, the molten metal 10 is poured to obtain the metallic mold 11. In this way, the metallic mold and the castings are mass-produced and the metallic mold having good accuracy can be made.
