PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having excellent stability of triboelectrostatic chargeability, flow property and preservable stability by subjecting a compd. contg. a compd. having an electric charge control group which is specific heterocyclic group and org. group having active hydrogen to a condensation polymn. reaction to expose the charge control group on the surface of a shell, thereby forming the toner. CONSTITUTION:The shell is formed in such a manner that the charge control group is exposed on the shell surface by the condensation polymn. reaction of the compd. contg. the compd. having the charge control group which is a dialkyl amino group or the satd. or unsatd. heterocyclic group having the nitrogen group not directly bonded to a hydrogen atom and the org. group having the active hydrogen. Exfoliation of a material having a charge control effect, etc., are thereby decreased even after long-term running as compared to the toner formed by allowing the charge control agent such as nigrosine, metal complex dye or fine silica powder to merely exist on the surface. A change in the triboelectrostatic chargeability is thus decreased even after long-term use and always the good visible image is obtainable. Since the flow property is good, the resultant visible image (toner image) is sharp. |
