PURPOSE:To suppress a sudden change in the density of a copy image by providing a means for controlling the charging current of a band electrode and the voltage of an exposure lamp in accordance with the temperature or the degree of fatigue of a photosensitive body and controlling the current and voltage respectively at different timing. CONSTITUTION:The copying device is provided with the means for controlling the charging current of the band electrode and the voltage of the exposure lamp in accordance with the temperature or the degree of fatigue of the photosensitive body and the current and voltage are controlled respectively at different timing. Since it is difficult to simultaneously control the correction of current and the correction of voltage when the number of operation bits in a CPU is reduced, respective corrections are executed respectively at the different timing values shifted from each other by a prescribed time when both the corrections are simultaneously commanded. Consequently, a sudden change in the copy density can be suppressed. |
