Paving finisher

Conventional floor-pavement finishers have a cantilever arm which is subdivided into a multiplicity of individual cantilever members which are articulatedly connected to one another. The desire for high stability and great accuracy is somewhat in contradiction to the attempt to obtain, by means of the cantilever arm, a wide range for the ground-working implement which can be fixed to the front end of the cantilever, while the cantilever itself is to be of simple construction and as light in weight as possible. To solve this, the paving finisher has at least one cantilever member (17) which has a cantilever arm (37, 45) which is capable of extending telescopically in length and is supported on a neighbouring cantilever member (17) or directly on the carrying and supporting device (1). The extendable cantilever arm (37, 45) is guided in a separate cantilever mounting (15, 39). The paving finisher is suitable for the production of all possible flooring and paving constructions. <IMAGE>
