PURPOSE:To realize the sure negative feedback control by dividing a 1st variable to be applied to a process into a part where the fixed value is outputted and a part where the value varying in a fixed range is outputted. CONSTITUTION:In a control of such a process where a 2nd variate (subordinate variable) has its peak value with the specific value of a 1st variate (independent variable) and decreases as it moves more distant in the upper and lower directions, the 1st variate is separated into a 1st output means 25 which has a semifixed output and a 2nd output means 26 which has a variable output in a fixed range. Then such variates are given to the process. As a result, the response properties can be improved and furthermore the sure negative feedback control is secured even when the target value is set at the right side of the 2nd variate peak value as long as the output characteristics of the means 26 are adversely connected to the means 25.
