PURPOSE:To prevent flashes from being formed on a temperature sensing surface of a temperature sensor through spreading of resin down to a rear end part of a large diameter part at the time of injection molding, by a method wherein a front part side of a temperature sensor including the temperature sensing surface is made larger in the diameter than that of a rear part side, and a part of a housing is extended down to the rear end part of the large diameter part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of injection molding, a water temperature switch 3 into a ring groove of which an 0 ring 2 has been fitted beforehand is prepared, and the water temperature switch 3 is set up to a mold so that the whole of a large diameter part 21 of the water temperature switch 3 faces on the inside of a cavity 14, and a small diameter part 22 thereof seats on a top and bottom forces 11, 12. At the time of this setting, a temperature sensing surface 3a of the water temperature switch 3 is abutted against the bottom force 11 by pressing the rear of the water temperature switch 3 by a spring 15. When resin is injected into the cavity 14 at the moment, the resin is spread down to a rear end part of the large diameter part 21 and injection pressure moving the whole of the water temperature switch 3 forward is applied to the large diameter part 21. Thereby, the temperature sensing surface 3a of the water temperature switch 3 is pressed strongly against the bottom force 11, and it does not happen that a gap is generated there during injection molding. |
