PURPOSE:To dispense with a support member and to simplify mounting operation, by allowing the opening of a contact part, which has a piercing hole mounted to the bottom part thereof and has an elastically flexible and freely deformable side wall, to communicate with the opening of a measuring tank by a communication member. CONSTITUTION:Required voltage is applied to the opposed electrode 12 in the electrolyte 10, which is received in the lower tank 4 of the electrolytic cell 27, and an object 16 to be measured by a potentiostat 2 and the polarization characteristic of the object 1 to be measured on the basis of electrolytic reaction is automatically recorded on a recorder 25 to perform the deterioration inspection of the object 16 to be measured. The opening part 32 of the tank 4 is allowed to communicate with the opening of a contact part 38, which has a piercing hole 21 mounted to the bottom part thereof and of which the side wall forms bellows 37 to be elastically and freely deformable, by a communication member 34. Therefore, without using the support member matched with the surface shape of the object 16 to be measured each time, the cell 27 can be set in a vertical erected state and the mounting execution of the electrolytic cell can be simply and certainly performed.
