PURPOSE:To form a flat converting characteristic over a wide band by inserting a parallel resonance preventing resistor and a series resonance capacitor to an intermediate frequency short-circuit using a microstrip line. CONSTITUTION:The parallel resonance preventing resistors 15, 16 and the series resonance capacitors 13, 14 are inserted between the intermediate frequency short-circuit circuits 5, 6 and ground circuits 11, 12 in a single balanced mixer comprising a miorostrip line. Thus, in viewing the intermediate frequency short- circuits 5, 6 and the hybrid circuit 4 from a terminal (a) of the mixer diode 17, the inductance of the intermediate frequency short-circuits 5, 6 is cancelled by the capacitors 13, 14 and the resonance with the hybrid circuit 4 is prevented by the resistors 15, 16. Thus, a flat converting characteristic is obtained over a wide band.
