PURPOSE:To obtain an explosion-proof sealing captioned glass container by coating a special foamable resin layer and a special thermoshrinkable film on the surface of the container, then heating to first foam the resin layer and then shrinking the film. CONSTITUTION:A foamable resin layer exhibiting more than 2 of foaming magnification when heated at 130 deg.C for 20sec. and a thermoshrinkable film of monoaxial or biaxial orientation with the yield of less than 10% when heated at 90 deg.C for 20sec. and with the yield of more than 10% when heated at 140 deg.C for 20sec. are coated on the surface of a glass container. Then, the container is heated at 120-200 deg.C for 30-40sec. to first foam the resin layer between the film and the surface. Then, the film is shirnked, thereby forming the covering for protecting the container. This performs excellent breakage preventing effect and, when a pattern is printed on the film, decorative effect can also be obtained. |
