PURPOSE:To obtain test paper for the examination of body fluids generating uniform coloration, by providing a highly water-absorbable part in the vicinity of an examination reagent layer and a hue layer. CONSTITUTION:A highly water-absorbable part 3 is provided on a base material 4 so as to be brought into contact with either one of or both of an examination reagent layer 1 and a hue layer 2 or so as to provide a definite interval from said layers. An aqueous part 3 is composed of an ink composition containing a highly water-absorbable substance and the ink composition contains a water absorbable powder such as cellulose, starch or a highly water-absorbable gel, a hydrophilic or hydrophobic resin, a binder, an additive such as an inorg. filler for making a film porous and a solvent. As the highly water-soluble gel, for example, a crosslinked graft copolymer based on polyvinyl alcohol or acrylate is used. The aqueous part 3 is formed on the base material 4 along with the reagent layer 1 and the hue layer 2 by printing and rapidly absorbs and removes the excessive liquid to be examined adhered to the reagent layer 1 and the hue layer to make it possible to provide bodily fluid examining test paper generating uniform coloration through the uniform adhesion of the liquid to be examined.
