Surfactants of the formula I, in the form of their monophosphate and/or diphosphate esters, in particular surfactant preparations, containing 20 to 70% by weight of one or more block copolymers of the formula I R-(OC2H4)n-(OC3H6)p-(OC2H4)x-OH in which R denotes linear or branched C9-16-alkyl, n denotes 0 to 10, p denotes 1 to 7 and x denotes 2 to 10, and up to 80% by weight of water, are outstandingly suitable as wetting agents in the textile industry.
