NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R represents H, halogen atom or methyl; n is 0-2) or salts thereof. EXAMPLE:9-[(4-Acetyl-3-hydroxy-2-n-propylphenoxy)methyl]-3-(1H-tetrazo l-5-yl)-4 H-pyrido[1,2,-a]pyrimidin-4-one. USE:A remedy for allergosis having remarkable antagonism to leukotriene D4. PREPARATION:A nitrile derivative expressed by formula II is reacted with hydrazoic acid or salts thereof and, if necessary, subjected to salting treatment to afford the compound expressed by formula I. The nitrile derivative as a starting raw material can be produced by condensing a compound expressed by formula III with 2,4-dihydroxy-3-n-propylacetophenone in a molar amount of 1-6 times in the presence of an acid acceptor.
