PURPOSE:To prevent the end-breakage in restarting a spinning frame stopped for doffing, by winding a tail yarn to a yarn grip of a spindle base and lifting a ring rail to a level higher than a yarn cutting tooth. CONSTITUTION:The objective method is applied to a spinning frame such as ring frame, ring twister, etc., containing a yarn grip 12 positioned between a yarn cutting tooth 7 of a spindle base and a spindle wharve 11 and having a number of protrusions 12a protruded opposite to the rotary direction in spinning. In the above spinning frame, a ring rail 1 is lowered to a tail-winding position during the inertia motion of the spinning frame to be stopped for doffing and a tail yarn is wound to the yarn grip 12. Thereafter, the ring rail is lifted until a traveller 10 on the ring rail 1 becomes higher than the position of the yarn cutting tooth 7 and the spinning frame is completely stopped. |
