PURPOSE:To restrain lifting phenomena so as to prevent separation at a belt end in a commercial pneumatic tire by respectively specifying the ratios of a clown gauge and a buttless gauge upon normal pressure filling with respect to a shoulder gauge. CONSTITUTION:The ratio of a tire thickness clown gauge TC in the central part in a tire width direction with respect to a shoulder gauge TS, TC/TS is set in a range between 1.0 and 1.2. In a tire which is assembled on a normal rim and filled with a normal inner pressure an average tire thickness ranging from 25% to 30% of the height in section from a tire clown, that is the ratio of a buttless gauge TB with respect to the shoulder gauge TS, TB/TS, is set in a range between 0.4 and 0.5. It is thus possible to restrain lifting phenomena and to prevent separation at a belt end. |
