The wheelchair frame (1) comprises an upper support (4), a foot support (5) and side supports (6). Each one of the side supports (6) is formed by elongate upper and lower parts (7, 8) and front and back parts (9, 10) interconnecting the lower and upper parts. An upper support (4) is jointed on to the side supports (6) and the parts (7, 8, 9, 10) of the side support are jointed to each other in such a manner that the wheelchair can be folded. The front wheels (3) are fastened to the front parts (9) of the side supports (6) in such a manner that when folding up the wheelchair the front wheels (3) turn with the front parts (9) to the folded transport position and correspondingly, when unfolding, to the operating position. <IMAGE> |
