PURPOSE:To continuously and effectively separate a gaseous component and a solid component even with respect to dust containing a fine powder or moisture, by using a cylindrical filter material revolving, reduced in pressure at the hollow part thereof and having a revolving brush provided thereto along the peripheral surface part thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a drive apparatus 15 and a negative pressure generator 116 are started, air containing dust flows in the suction port 102 of a container 101 as shown by an arrow (a) and is subsequently sucked in a cylindrical filter material 106 from the surface thereof as shown by an arrow (b) and clean air from which dust is removed flows in the hollow part 124 of a hollow drive shaft 109 as shown by an arrow (c) to flow out as shown by an arrow (d). The dust collides with the surface of the cylindrical filter material 106 to lose kinetic energy and falls in the drawer 105 provided at the bottom part of the container 101 under its own wt. or is adhered to the surface of the cylindrical filter material 106 to form a thin layer but this adhered layer is removed by a revolving brush 108.
