<p>The mixture of particles is mixed with a liquid which is fed into a vessel and subjected to vibrations. This separates the components into superimposed layers which are transported to discharge apertures. Individual particles in the mixture are displaced and the layers loosened by surfaces on which the granular mixture rests. These are inclined at 5-40 degrees to the horizontal and are oscillated in horizontal, linear or elliptical motions. The axis of the motions forms an angle of 0-45 degrees with the horizontal projections of the trajectory of the surfaces.</p> |
