PURPOSE:To economically identify a semiconductor integrated circuit even when it is mixed after it becomes a final product by resin sealing by containing a type identifying nonlinear circuit which has voltage/current characteristic that a current value is saturated with respect to an applied voltage and in which a pair of voltage supplying terminals can be connected to an external terminal. CONSTITUTION:A type identifying nonlinear circuit 20 having voltage/current characteristic that a current value is saturated with respect to an applied voltage is contained. One of a pair of voltage supplying terminals of the circuit 20 is wired to the lowest potential terminal 2, and the other is connected to a power terminal 1 or remains nonconnecting in response to the type. Thus, even if two types similar in the final product states are mixed even after they are resin-sealed, they can be lightly inspected by an economically inexpensive facility cost by discovering the difference of DC characteristics thereof.
