<p>PURPOSE:To make power consumption small and enable the application of compact and simple constitution by connecting high and low beam filaments to each other in series via the changeover of a switch, and using the filaments so connected for daytime lighting. CONSTITUTION:A high beam filament 7 and a low beam filament 8 are connected to each other in series via the changeover of a switch 1 and used as filaments for daytime lighting lamps. According to the aforesaid constitution, it becomes possible to increase resistance and keep power consumption small, as compared with the case of independent lighting without any necessity of connecting said filaments 7 and 8 to each other in series and providing an additional daytime lighting lamp, when daytime lighting is required. Also, as existing lamp bulbs are used, compact and simple constitution can be applied without any increase in the quantity of bulbs.</p> |
