PURPOSE:To set a copying machine to a usable state at the time when it should be actually used, by controlling the copying machine so that a power source is turned on at least a warm-up time before the time set by setting means. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine is so constituted that the power source is turned on at least the time, which is required for warm-up, before the time of actual use if this time of actual use is preliminarily set by setting means 80-89. Therefore, the copying machine is in the usable state at this time of actual use to eliminate the waiting time. Further, the variance of the time for warm-up due to the variance of ambient temperature is automatically corrected because the warm-up time is determined based on the temperature of a fixing roller detected by a temperature detecting means TH1, and the error between the time of use reservation and the time when the copying machine is actually set to the usable state is reduced, and accurate setting is possible. |
