PURPOSE:To avoid a sudden shift, by furnishing a control device to feed a fluid to a damper piston of a shift actuator for a specific time in the operation of shifting. CONSTITUTION:Signals of shift position of a shifting shaft 1e and the selected position of a selection shaft 4e are input to an electronic control unit 2 to detect the shifted gear stage. A damper piston 1d furnished with an O ring 1c is installed to a shift actuator 1. To the damper piston 1d, a fluid is fed for a specific time by an electromagnetic valve V5 during the shifting is operated. Therefore, the damage of dog teeth of a synchronization mechanism can be prevented even a large thrust is imposed, and a sudden shift can be avoided.
