<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate superfluous data and to improve image quality in image processing by integrating the digital image data of autoradiograph by each of blocks severally divided in sepn. and development directions and processing such data. CONSTITUTION:The digital image data including the autoradiograph of protein, etc., having radioactive labels separated and developed on a supporting medium are integrated by each of the blocks (a)-(f) divided in the separated and developed directions and the one-dimensional waveforms (integrated concn. waveforms within blocks) in the (x) direction are determined by integrating the data in the (y) direction within each of the blocks. The one-dimensional waveforms and thresholds are compared and the boundary points 1, 5, 6, 10 of migration pattern regions are determined. The lanes segmented by min. points 2-4, 7-9 in the boundaries are exclusive developed matter such as guanine and adenine. The processing data (respective boundary points) of every block are successively connected. The image data of only the migration pattern regions are thereby extracted and the image quality in image processing is improved.</p> |
