PURPOSE:To improve the light fastness of a Magenta picture image by incorporating a specified coupler for forming a Magenta picture image and a compd. into a silver halide photographic sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:At least one coupler for forming Magenta picture image expressed by the formula [I], at least one compd. expressed by the formula [II], at least one compd. expressed by the formula [III], and at least one compd. selected from compd. expressed by the formula [III] and [IV], are incorporated into a silver halide photographic sensitive material. In the formula, Z is a nonmetal atom group necessary for forming a N-contg. heterocyclic ring; X is H atom or group releasable by the reaction with an oxidized body of a color developing agent; R is H atom or a substituent. Further, each Z1 and Z2 is 1-3C alkylene group; Z3 is a specified nonmetal atom group; Z4 and Z5 is a specified atom group, respectively; and R<1-10> are aryl grop, etc. By this constitution, the color fastness of Magenta picture image is improved. |
