PURPOSE:To obtain a simple printing device capable of being manually operated, by providing an ink drain hole at a belly part of a squeegee reciprocated on a screen by operating an operating lever. CONSTITUTION:With an operating lever 2 depressed in the direction of an arrow A, a squeegee 4 is moved in the direction of an arrow (a), whereby an ink (i) is spread on a screen 6 while a surplus portion of the ink is pushed forward. When the squeegee 4 approaches a stroke end, the ink (i) is clamped between the squeegee 4 and a close contact plate 33, and is pushed out through an ink drain hole 50 reversely to the moving direction of the squeegee 4. When the squeegee reaches the stroke end, the squeegee 4 makes close contact with the plate 33, so that the surplus portion of the ink (i) is almost completely transferred onto the screen 6 on the backward stroke side. When the lever 2 is depressed in the direction of an arrow B and the squeegee 4 is moved backward in the direction of an arrow (b), the ink (i) can be pushed and moved while spreading it on the screen 6. The ink (i) is transferred, at each of the stroke ends. Thus, printing can be performed efficiently.
