The invention relates to a rapid-boiling water heater with a water container B and an inspection glass S which is arranged therein, shows the level of the water in the container B and is open both at its lower end and its upper end. The inspection glass S is rotatably mounted at its lower end in such a way that, on rotation of the inspection glass S, its upper opening is accessible outside the water container B.
