A stroke-making machine for badminton can be used as a "partner" to simulate virtually all strokes and sequences of strokes for training purposes. This can be achieved in that shuttlecocks which are introduced by hand or via a shuttlecock magazine automatically into an annular guide channel of less than 360@ are brought by the free end of a serving arm which is secured centrally relative to the ring at the other end, onto a trajectory which is dependent on the shape of the channel, the position of the channel and the acceleration, or are played over the net to the person to be trained.
|
