PURPOSE:To sufficiently impart high heat insulating characteristic to sandwich glass and to improve the productivity of the sandwich glass, by forming a resinous bonding layer for bonding two glass bodies to a network body holding air layers wherein said resinous bonding layer is interposed between the glass body. CONSTITUTION:A resinous bonding layer for bonding two glass bodies 1, 1 to one body is formed to a network body 2. By this constitution, the resinous bonding layer is utilized effectively and sufficient heat insulating characteristic is imparted to a sandwich glass by the effect of the air layer in the network body 2. Moreover, the productivity of the sandwich glass is improved by the elimination of a deaerating stage. For example, the resinous bonding layer interposed between the two glass bodies 1, 1 for bonding the two glass bodies is made of saponified copolymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc. and the resinous bonding layer is formed to a network body 2 having a lattice structure. The thickness (t) of the resinous bonding layer is adjusted to ca. 5-6mm, and the two glass bodies 1, 1 are bonded to form one body by interposing the network body 2 between the glass bodies 1, 1 and fusing the network body by heating without executing deaeration.
