PURPOSE:To enable to perform an electrophoresis through removal of an unneccessary high-moleculae component of components obtaned in a sample, by installing a filter attaching mechanism to an electrophoresis pipe running from a sample introducing part to a detector. CONSTITUTION:A filter attaching mechanism 8 is situated between a sample implanting part 4 and a detector 6 so that it can switch filters 12a-12d to an electrophoresis pipe 5. The filter mechanism 8 consists of two stationary terminals 9 and 11, monolithically coupled to the electrophoresis pipe 5, and a disc-shaped rotor 10 rotatably and slidably positioned between the nip formed by the two stationary terminals. Perforations 9a and 11a are formed in the terminals 9 and 11 and in an eccentric position where the terminals are connected to the electrophoresis pipe 5, and a given number of filter attaching apertures, for example, 4 apertures 10a-10d are provided in the rotor 10 and in a periphery with a radius (r) ranging from a spin center O to the centers O' of the perforations 9a and 11a. The filter attaching apertures 10a-10d are exchangeably filled with gelling-filters 12a-12d, respectively, which selectively separate components in a sample by a particle size. |
