PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent dimensional accuracy and mechanical strengths, by blending a melt-processable polyester capable of forming an anisotropic melt phase with a specified filler having a treated surface. CONSTITUTION:A melt-processable polyester (A) having a weight-average MW of 2,000-200,000, capable of forming an anisotropic melt phase and composed of an arom. hydroxycarboxylic acid (a) and/or an arom. or alicyclic dicarboxylic acid (b) and an arom., alicyclic or aliph. diol (c) as structural ingredients (e.g., liquid crystal polyester) is blended with 0.5-70wt% (based on the amount of the compsn.) inorg. filler (B) having a treated surface, obtd. by immersing a powdered inorg. filler (d) selected from the group consisting of potassium titanate fiber, alumina, silica, talc, mica, glass flake, etc. (e.g., potassium titanate fiber having an average fiber length of 5-120mu and an average fiber diameter of 0.1-1.0mu) in a dilute aq. soln. of an epoxy silane compd. (e) of the formula (wherein R is CH3 or C2H5; X is epoxy group; n is 2 or 3).
