PURPOSE:To form the peripheral edge of a fitting tapering off without performing a cutting by forming the outer circumferential face of a taper part in a taper cross section by punching it by press after forming the taper part by pressing the working part of the base material subjected to a rough drawing. CONSTITUTION:An ion plate material is punched in the necessary shape by a press and made a discoid base material 1 punching a plank and center prepared hole. The peripheral edge part of the base material 1 is subjected to a rough drawing by pressing and made in a turned down cup state. A taper part 2 is then formed by drawing the peripheral edge part in the taper at a specific angle by performing a form drawing by press. The outer peripheral face of the taper part 2 is punched by a press to perform the outer peripheral trimming and formed in a tapering cross section.
