PURPOSE:To form a triboelectrostatic charge imparting member which imparts excellent negative polarity to a toner by having a compd. expressed by specific general formula on at least the surface. CONSTITUTION:The triboelectrostatic charge imparting member which imparts the excellent negative electrostatic chargeability to the toner is formed by having the compd. expressed by formula I on at least the surface. The triboelectrostatic charge imparting member which is suitable for electrostatic charging of the bright toner and the triboelectrostatic charge imparting member which provides the image quality equiv. to the quality of a initial image even after continuous copying are further provided. In formula I, n=1-10, R1-R3 and R4 denote hydrogen, alkyl group, aryl group which has or does not have a substituent, aralkyl group or amino group and may be the same or different. |
