The invention relates to a mobile conference lectern equipped with devices for scrolling a luminous text which can be read by the speaker by reflection in a glass plate, and devices required for voice amplification. It consists of a piece of furniture equipped with castors 5 for movement and including a luminous display device 10 allowing the conference text to be scrolled in front of the eyes of the speaker 16 by reflection in a glass or plexiglass plate 12 inclinable about an axis 21. It also includes the devices required for voice amplification, such as microphone 6, amplifier 7 and loudspeakers 8 and 9. It includes a foldable footrest 18. <IMAGE>
