In prepn. of H2O2 by the anthraquinone process, a reaction mixt. contg. H2 or a gas contg. H2, a soln. of anthraquinone or a deriv. in an organic solvent, and a solid suspended catalyst, is circulated in a system of reactor tubes, which has a static mixer with 1 or more parts. The soln. is circulated at less than 3 m/sec. through the system, in which the pressure is less than 15 bar and the temp. is below 100 deg. C.
