PURPOSE:To reduce transmission loss, by providing a disk-shaped antenna main body in a waveguide space enclosed with a metallic wall, and directly connecting a transmission/reception part which transfers power between the waveguide space to an aperture part provided in almost the center part of the metallic wall. CONSTITUTION:An antenna is formed by arranging an intermediate metallic plate 6 in the center part of the waveguide space in which metallic disk plates 1 and 2 are constituted by coupling them with a reripheral wall 14. A pair of slots 1a are provided on the metallic disk plate 1 in a concentric circle shape or a spiral shape, and a receiving waveguide plane is formed, A receiving aperture 2a is formed on the metallic disk plate 2. The metallic disk plate 6 is supported on the disk plate 1 with a termination resistance 8, and is matched with the aperture 2a by a cone-shaped matching body 5. The transmission/ reception parts 17 and 13 are provided by connecting directly to the aperture 2a, and they are connected to a tuner part 15 with a coaxial line 14. In such way, a device can be miniaturized, and the transmission loss is reduced, and high antenna efficiency can be obtained.
