SUBSCRIBER LINE SIGNAL LINE CONCENTRATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To decrease the cost of a transmission line by adding a header corresponding to a subscriber allocating position to a subscriber line signal and sending the result so as to apply line concentration to subscriber line signal links and to connect them to an exchange. CONSTITUTION:A packet line concentration multiplexer 5 and a multiplexed signal link 6 are provided and the packet line concentration multiplexer 5 applies line concentration to the subscriber line signal link 4. The multiplexed signal link 6 connects the packet line concentration multiplexer 5 and an exchange 2. Since a header representing the allocated position of a subscriber is added to the subscriber line signal corresponding to each subscriber and the resulting signal is received/given via the multiplexed link 6 between the packet line concentration multiplexer 5 and the exchange 2, the signal link between the packet line concentration multiplexer 5 and the exchange 2 is subject to line concentration. Thus, remarkable reduction in the subscriber line signal links is attained and the transmission cost is reduced.
