PURPOSE:To carry both an original to be transmitted and a recording paper through the use of a single prime mover by using one sheet feeding roller for both as a paper feeding roller for reading and a paper feeding roller for recording, and using a sun and planet motion mechanism. CONSTITUTION:At the time of transmitting, the sheet feeding roller 3 rotates clockwise, and the original feeding roller 4 and the recording paper feeding roller 6 rotate, and the original 21 to be transmitted is carried. The original 21 is read at a reading spot 17 by an image sensor 19 through a lens 18 by the reflected light of a light source 16. At that time, an arm 7 also rotates by the rotation of the roller 3, and because a planet gear 8 disengages the engagement to the roller 10a and a gear 10c, a thermosensible paper 22 is not carried. Next, at the time of the reception, the roller 3 rotates counter clockwise, and the planet gear 8 engages to the gear 10c, and a recording paper guide rollers 10a, 10b are driven so that the thermosensible paper is carried. The carried thermosensible paper is supplied between a thermosensible recording head 14 and a platen 13, and a heat recording is performed by a heating part 14a.
