PURPOSE:To accelerate the development of an exposed silver halide photographic sensitive material by processing the sensitive material with a color developing soln. contg. a specified compd. or by successively processing it with a preprocessing soln. contg. the specified compd. before a color developing soln. CONSTITUTION:An exposed silver halide photographic sensitive material is processed with a color developing soln. contg. a compd. represented by the formula or it is successively processed with a preprocessing soln. contg. the compd. before a color developing soln. In the formula, each of Z1 and Z2 is a 14n3C alkylene chain, n=0, 1 or 2, each of R1 and R2 is H atom or aralkyl group having 1-6C alkyl, alkoxy group or the like which may have a substituent, R1 and R2 may bond to each other to form a hetero ring contg. N or further contg. O and S atom, R1 and R2 are not simultaneously H atom and each of R3-R6 is H, halogen atom or the like. Thus, the color development of the sensitive material can be accelerated. |
