PURPOSE:To improve usability of the seat belt by taking the retractor as ALR (Automatic Lock type Retractor) at the time when a webbing is all drawn and functioning the retractor as ELR(Emergency Lock type Retractor) except the above case. CONSTITUTION:A spindle 6 is rotatably supported by a retractor main body 1 and the rotational force in the winding direction of a webbing is applied by a spiral spring. Onto the spindle 6, a winding shaft 10 for winding the webbing is fitted. On the end portion of the spindle 6, a circular arc clutch plate 13 is rotatably supported while a synchronous gear 16 is fixed on the end portion more outward therefrom. On the supporting plate 28 of the clutch plate 13, a lever 38 which can be engaged to the synchronous gear 16 is pivotably fitted so that the lever 38 is engaged to the synchronous gear 16 by a control cam 42 at the time when the webbing is all drawn. To the control cam 42, the rotation of the spindle 6 is transmitted under reduction through a planetary gear mechanism comprising a planetary gear 50 and inner gear 54. |
