PURPOSE:To obtain a highly practical color picture tube where a pluraity of masks are fixed accurately with predetermined interval while maintaining insulation, by fixing a sliding metal chip fixed through a metal chip to one end of fixing member to the skirt section of one mask while the mask at the other other end to the other mask or skirt section. CONSTITUTION:In order to set two masks 7, 8 with predetermined intervl, two masks contacting tightly are applied on a frame 16 to weld one mask 8 to the frame 16. Then under such state where a referential pin 32 is inserted through one holes 38, 40 of two metal chips 35, 36 of fixing member and matched, a metal chip 34 is welded to theframe 16 while the sliding metal chip 36 is welded to the mask 7. Thereafter said pin 32 is drawn out to insert the referential pin 32 through the other referential holes 37, 39 of two metal chips 35, 36. |
